Business-related research & experimental development

In 2018, industrial research & experimental development was included in the association’s statutes as a further business area.

Thanks to a large number of successfully implemented research projects as a central coordinator, BioEnergie Verbund e.V. therefore has a wealth of experience. The declared goal of these project activities was and is to achieve economic marketing together with the cooperation partners.

With the increase in personnel, the acquisition of modern technology and the expansion of the premises at the location in Jena, the prerequisites were created to realize complex research projects. In the long term, the research center will focus on the rapidly growing field of bioinformatics and bioprocess engineering.

Current and completed research projects:

• Development of a process for the hygienization of contaminated digestate from waste biogas plants
• ZIM Research Project Plasma Crack
