Project description:

Bioconversion of previously unused biomass into high-quality basic materials for a biobased plastics industry using the example of fiber material recovery for use in thermoplastic starch products with safeguarding of biological recycling.

The content of the study was to clarify whether the envisaged conversion process is eligible for funding and technically feasible within the framework of a funding program. Results and recommendations for action were recorded in a consulting report.

The project, which was funded by the Free State of Thuringia, was supported by funds from the European Union within the framework of the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE).
